Getting an Allotment
To get an allotment on the Settle Street Allotment site you need to apply via Bolton Council's allotments section on their website. After you have applied and get a place on the waiting list it normally takes around 3 years before we will contact you to offer you a plot. We will contact you via email and follow that up with a text, if after trying to contact people on the waiting list three times and we have had no response we move on to the next person on the waiting list. It is therefore very important that you make sure that the email address and phone number you supply to the council doesn't change between when you apply and 3 to 4 years later, if you change it please also update the council with your new details.
